A DB2 grille fitting kit that provides customers with the full set of six brackets that can be trimmed to fit the bonnet’s bodywork and returned edge. The grille bracket-set marries and aligns to the grille’s tabs, slotted holes and triangle tab and comes supplied with metric fasteners.
The condition of a car’s existing grille bracketry and surrounding bodywork does vary quite a bit from vehicle to vehicle, and we often see misaligned or damaged bracketry. This solution helps customers if no bracketry exists or needs replacing.
The aluminium brackets need to be trimmed and tailored to the bodywork to establish the correct position and alignment. They’re either riveted (as seen on most cars), or indeed, welded directly to the bodywork (less often seen) – so customers are aware some additional work is required after purchasing.
