1954 Daimler Conquest Roadster
As we can see from these photos, a small amount of visible corrosion eventually lead to discoveries of a huge amounts of deterioration. An in-depth and lengthy job due to these discoveries. This car was owned by the lovely Mr and Mrs Pusey, you can now see this vehicle in the Haynes Motor Museum…

As you’ll see from the photos below, this Daimler Conquest only had a small blister on the rear wheel arch when it came to us. It soon became clear that damage and rust was far more extensive than that. Project creep on this vehicle was extensive, but after a sustained rebuild the owners, a lovely couple now since passed away, did manage to enjoyed a good few years driving their pride and joy. This job was undertaken circa 1993.

An early complete re-panelling job of ours back in the early 1990’s. Apart from the body panelling shown, we also fabricated the new wings and bonnet. The timber frame was built by Ian Skinner, the furniture and coachbuilder working from Semley and the trim was completed by Ian Best, Tarrant Valley Trimming.
